You have to hand it to congressional Democrats. Mendacious grifters whose national security agenda is virtually indistinguishable from Bushist Republicans, when it comes to rearranging proverbial deck chairs on the Titanic, the party of "change" is second to none in the "all terrorism all the time" department.
While promising to restore the "rule of law," "protect civil liberties" while "keeping America safe," in practice, congressional Democrats like well-coiffed Republican clones across the aisle, are crafting legislation that would do Dick Cheney proud!
As the Cybersecurity Act of 2009 (S.773) wends its way through Congress, civil liberties' advocates are decrying provisions that would hand the President unlimited power to disconnect private-sector computers from the internet.
CNET reported August 28, that the latest iteration of the bill "would allow the president to 'declare a cybersecurity emergency' relating to 'non-governmental' computer networks and do what's necessary to respond to the threat."
Drafted by Senators Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) and Olympia Snowe (R-ME), "best friends forever" of the National Security Agency (NSA) and the telecommunications industry, they were key enablers of Bush-era warrantless wiretapping and privacy-killing data mining programs that continue apace under Obama.
As The New York Times revealed in June, a former NSA analyst described a secret database "code-named Pinwale, that archived foreign and domestic e-mail messages." The former analyst "described being trained in 2005 for a program in which the agency routinely examined large volumes of Americans' e-mail messages without court warrants. Two intelligence officials confirmed that the program was still in operation."
Antifascist Calling has noted on more than one occasion, that with "cyberterrorism" morphing into al-Qaeda 2.0, administration policies designed to increase the scope of national security state surveillance of private communications will soon eclipse the intrusiveness of Bushist programs.
As Cindy Cohn, the Legal Director of the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) wrote earlier this month, commenting on this summer's public relations blitz by former NSA boss Michael Hayden and Office of Legal Counsel torture-enabler John Yoo's defense of the so-called Presidential Surveillance Program,
While the details are unknown, credible evidence indicates that billions of everyday communications of ordinary Americans are swept up by government computers and run through a process that includes both data-mining and review of content, to try to figure out whether any of us were involved in illegal or terrorist-related activity. That means that even the most personal and private of our electronic communications--between doctors and patients, between husbands and wives, or between children and parents--are subject to review by computer algorithms programmed by government bureaucrats or by the bureaucrats themselves. Both Rockefeller and Snowe are representative of the state's "bipartisan consensus" when it comes to increasing the power of the intelligence and security apparatus and were instrumental in ramming through retroactive immunity for telecoms who illegally spy on the American people. If last year's "debate" over the grotesque FISA Amendments Act (FAA) is an indication of how things will go after Congress' summer recess, despite hand-wringing by congressional "liberals," S.773 seems destined for passage. CNET revealed:
When Rockefeller, the chairman of the Senate Commerce committee, and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) introduced the original bill in April, they claimed it was vital to protect national cybersecurity. "We must protect our critical infrastructure at all costs--from our water to our electricity, to banking, traffic lights and electronic health records," Rockefeller said. But as we witness practically on a daily basis, hysterical demands for "protection" from various "dark actors" inevitably invokes an aggressive response from militarized state security apparatchiks and their private partners.
As Antifascist Calling reported in July (see: "Behind the Cyberattacks on America and South Korea. 'Rogue' Hacker, Black Op or Both?"), when North Korea was accused of launching a widespread computer attack on U.S. government, South Korean and financial web sites, right-wing terrorism and security specialists perched at Stratfor and the American Enterprise Institute (AEI)--without a shred of evidence--linked the cyber blitz to a flurry of missile tests and the underground detonation of a nuclear device by North Korea.
Adding to the noise, Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-MI), the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee went so far as to urge President Obama to respond--by launching a cyberattack against the bankrupt Stalinist regime.
Despite provocative rhetoric and false charges that might have led to war with disastrous consequences for the people of East Asia, as it turned out an unknown sociopath used an updated version of the MyDoom e-mail worm to deploy a botnet in the attack. As Computerworld reported, the botnet "does not use typical antivirus evasion techniques and does not appear to have been written by a professional malware writer." Hardly a clarion call for bombing Dear Leader and countless thousands of Koreans to smithereens!
In this context, the Cybersecurity Act of 2009 goes much further than protecting "critical infrastructure" from over-hyped cyberattacks.
Among other measures, Section 18, "Cybersecurity Responsibilities and Authority," hands the Executive Branch, specifically The President, the power to "declare a cybersecurity emergency and order the limitation or shutdown of Internet traffic to and from any compromised Federal Government or United States critical infrastructure information system or network." This does not simply apply to federal networks, but may very well extend to the private communications ("critical infrastructure information system or network") of citizens who might organize against some egregious act by the state, say a nuclear strike against a nation deemed responsible for launching a cyberattack against the United States, as suggested in May by the head of U.S. Strategic Command (STRATCOM) General Kevin Chilton.
As I reported in June (see: "Cyber Command Launched. U.S. Strategic Command to Oversee Offensive Military Operations"), the military's newly-launched U.S. Cyber Command (CYBERCOM) is a "subordinate unified command" overseen by STRATCOM. Would "message force multipliers" embedded in the media or Pentagon public diplomacy specialists carrying out psychological operations (PSYOPS) here in the heimat, become the sole conduit for critical news and information during said "national emergency"?
Additionally, under Section 18's authority The President "shall designate an agency to be responsible for coordinating the response and restoration of any Federal Government or United States critical infrastructure information system or network affected by a cybersecurity emergency declaration under paragraph (2)." What agency might Senator Rockefeller have in mind for "coordinating the response"? As Antifascist Calling revealed in April (see: "Pentagon's Cyber Command to Be Based at NSA's Fort Meade"), CYBERCOM will be based at NSA headquarters and led by Lt. General Keith Alexander, the current NSA director who will oversee Pentagon efforts to coordinate both defensive and offensive cyber operations.
How might an out-of-control Executive Branch seize the initiative during an alleged "national emergency"? Paragraph 6 spells this out in no uncertain terms: "The President may order the disconnection of any Federal Government or United States critical infrastructure information systems or networks in the interest of national security."
The draconian bill has drawn a sharp rebuke from both civil libertarians and the telecommunications industry. Larry Clinton, the president of the Internet Security Alliance (ISA) told CNET: "It is unclear what authority Sen. Rockefeller thinks is necessary over the private sector. Unless this is clarified, we cannot properly analyze, let alone support the bill."
And Wayne Crews, the director of technology studies at the rightist Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) told Federal Computer Week: "From American telecommunications to the power grid, virtually anything networked to some other computer is potentially fair game to [President Barack] Obama to exercise 'emergency powers'."
True enough as far as it goes, these "free market" cheerleaders are extremely solicitous however, when it comes to government defense and security contracts that benefit their clients; so long as the public is spared the burden of exercising effective control as cold cash greases the sweaty palm of the market's "invisible hand"!
As Antifascist Calling revealed in June (see: "Obama's Cybersecurity Plan: Bring on the Contractors!"), the ISA is no ordinary lobby shop. According to a self-promotional blurb on their web site, ISA "was created to provide a forum for information sharing" and "represents corporate security interests before legislators and regulators."
Amongst ISA sponsors one finds AIG (yes, that AIG!) Verizon, Raytheon, VeriSign, the National Association of Manufacturers, Nortel, Northrop Grumman, Tata, and Mellon. State partners include the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Congress, and the Department of Commerce.
Indeed ISA and CEI, are firm believers in the mantra that "the diversity of the internet places its security inescapably in the hands of the private sector," and that "regulation for consumer protection" that rely on "government mandates" to "address cyber infrastructure issues" will be "ineffective and counter-productive both from a national security and economic perspective." CEI and ISA's solution? Let's have another gulp of that tasty "market incentives" kool-aid!
In other words, hand over the cash in the form of taxpayer largess and we'll happily (and profitably!) continue to violate the rights of the American people by monitoring their Internet communications and surveilling their every move through nifty apps hardwired into wireless devices as the Electronic Frontier Foundation revealed in a new report on locational privacy.
Unfortunately, Clinton, Crews and their well-heeled partners seem to have forgotten an elementary lesson of history: a national security state such as ours will invariably unwind its tentacles into every corner of life unless challenged by a countervailing force--a pissed-off, mobilized citizenry.
Now that national security "change" chickens are coming home to roost, both CEI and ISA seem incredulous: you mean us? How's that for irony!
Lee Tien, a senior staff attorney with EFF told CNET that changes to the original version of the bill do not address pressing privacy concerns.
Tien told the publication: "The language has changed but it doesn't contain any real additional limits. It simply switches the more direct and obvious language they had originally to the more ambiguous (version)...The designation of what is a critical infrastructure system or network as far as I can tell has no specific process. There's no provision for any administrative process or review. That's where the problems seem to start. And then you have the amorphous powers that go along with it."
McCullagh avers: "Translation: If your company is deemed 'critical,' a new set of regulations kick in involving who you can hire, what information you must disclose, and when the government would exercise control over your computers or network."
And there you have it, a "cybersecurity" blacklist to accompany a potential state takeover of the Internet during a "national emergency." What will they think of next!

The Move to Depopulate the Planet
It is my intention to give you clips from documents, many from the United Nations that prove there is a plan to depopulate this planet. I will also provide quotes from various people and organizations that further show this agenda is afoot. I pray the guidance of the Lord God Almighty will be with me in this pursuit to warn others of this dark plot against humanity.
Everything written in this paper is easily verifiable. It may take some time and effort, but I took great pains to make this paper as accurate as I possibly could.
The depopulation agenda is based on nature worship, or Gaia worship. In Genesis, God clearly told Adam and Eve, and then Noah and his family to go forth and multiply to fill the earth. Nowhere in the Bible does God rescind that clearly spoken commandment. Therefore man is attempting to supercede the command of the Lord God in heaven: The Creator! I ask you, who knows more about the state of the earth, the created, or the Creator?

Alexander Haig is quoted referring to the US State Department Office of Population Affairs, which was established by Henry Kissinger in 1975. The title has since been changed to The Bureau of Oceans, International Environmental and Scientific Affairs:
“Accordingly, the Bureau of Oceans, International Environmental and Scientific Affairs has consistently blocked industrialization policies in the Third World, denying developing nation’s access to nuclear energy technology–the policies that would enable countries to sustain a growing population. According to State Department sources, and Ferguson himself, Alexander Haig is a “firm believer” in population control.
Although the above stated quotes should be sufficient to prove that the elitists in power have definite intent to depopulate this planet to what they deem to be a sustainable level. Some will argue these are only opinions and are of no real consequence. I will now move on to providing bits of documentation showing this is a plan that has a worldwide scope of influence.
Most of these documents are at least 10 years old, some older. That however, does not take away from the seriousness of the content. Do not think them invalid due to their age. It takes time to foment plans on such a grand scale. But, if you are honest with yourself you can see glimpses of these things happening today.
I am going to cover some issues stemming from the UN Treaty on Biological Diversity (Agenda 21), which Bill Clinton signed into law in 1993 before it was sent to the U.S. Senate for ratification.

“The executive branch should direct federal agencies to evaluate national policies…. in light of international policies and obligations, and to amend national policies to achieve international objectives.”

That is the heart of the Convention on Biodiversity. Locking up nearly 50% of the land area of the United States is their idea of protecting biological diversity.

Henry Kissinger had a similar plan to use food as a weapon in 1974, found in the National Security Study Memorandum 200: Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests; which was adopted as official policy by then President Gerald Ford in November of 1975.
This Memorandum outlined a covert plan to reduce population growth in lesser-developed countries by means of birth control, and implicitly, war and famine. Brent Scowcroft, who had by then replaced Kissinger as National Security Advisor, (the same post Scowcroft held in the Bush Administration), was put in charge of implementing the plan. CIA Director George H.W. Bush was ordered to assist Scowcroft, as were the Secretaries of State, Treasury, Defense and Agriculture.
This document has never been renounced, only certain portions have been amended, leaving it as the foundational document on population control issued in the U.S. Government.

Let it be noted that Adolph Hitler also used food as weapon, stating that food is “a beautiful instrument…for maneuvering and disciplining the masses.” Food has been used as a weapon of war for centuries. The American people were not allowed to see this. Americans as a whole do not want the UN to be the head of a world government. The one thing the majority of this country values, above most everything else, is their freedom. Or the semblance of freedom we have left should I say.
At the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, the Presidential Council on Sustainable Development in 1996 came to the conclusion that the world’s human population should not exceed 500 million people. That is a 93% reduction in population!

In its original form, The Earth Charter failed miserably due to open, blatant pantheistic approach. Gorbachev and Strong have worked diligently to change the language and make it appear less obvious. You may be wondering what the Earth Charter has to do with depopulation. It has everything to do with it. Here is a very brief synopsis of what the Charter holds for us.

* “Adopt at all levels sustainable development plans and regulations….” (This is a prescription for global socialism in a super-regulated global state.)
* “Prevent pollution of any part of the environment…” (Enforcing this dictum would mean stopping virtually all human activity.)
* “Internalize the full environmental and social costs of goods and services in the selling price.” (This seemingly harmless sentence would empower the state to price, tax, and regulate all production and consumption.)
* “Ensure universal access to health care that fosters reproductive health and responsible reproduction. (This is a thinly disguised call for that includes abortion and population control.)
* “Eliminate discrimination in all its forms, such as that based on race … [and] sexual orientation.” (This provision is clearly aimed at criminalizing those who refuse to accept homosexuality as positive and good.)

Codex Alimentarius is going to regulate virtually anything that you put into your mouth that is not a pharmaceutical. The World Trade Organization (WTO) has accepted Codex Alimentarius and any nation that is a member of the WTO must become compliant with CA. In any dispute between 2 countries, the one that is Codex compliant automatically wins. This is quite an incentive for all nations to become compliant. – Rima Laibow
CA guidelines set for vitamins & minerals are said to be voluntary, however, they are scheduled to become mandatory on December 31, 2009. In 1994, Codex Alimentarius declared nutrients to be poisons: See the Dietary Supplement Health Education Act (DSHEA). Yet fluoride is acceptable! Why? It creates complacency. Proper nutrients will ensure a longer, healthier life. Not at all in keeping with a depopulation agenda.

Every county must set up a council to oversee the implementation of A 21. A 21 is Sustainable Development. Steven Rockefeller set up the Earth Charter, referenced above. The Earth Charter is the new One World Religion: Earth worship. The earth is considered to be ‘sacred’, and its protection is a ‘sacred trust’. Global responsibility will demand basic changes in values, behaviors and attitudes of government, the private sector, and civil society.
Under Sustainable Development man is considered to be responsible for the pollution of the planet and is subordinate to all other living creatures. This is a direct contradiction to the Bible where God placed man in a position of dominance over the entire earth. The elite will worship and serve the creature, rather than the Creator.

Abortion will be pushed that much harder, especially with the Science Czar wanting sterilants put into our water supply! One of the new appointee’s to the Obama Administration once said in a book he co-wrote that a child could be killed up to the age of 2 years old! What kind of a monster could think that is acceptable?
Nearly the exact language used to define Sustainable Development was taken from the 1977 Soviet Constitution!
The Family Dependency Ratio, under the United Nations, will look at every household. They will gauge what that household has produced in accordance with what it has used (i.e., resources) by the water bills, energy bills, etc. Are you using more than you are producing? Are you adding to the collective, or merely taking away? This is how the powers that be will determine whether you are a productive citizen, or, in the words of Henry Kissinger, “A useless eater”.

Everything written in this paper is easily verifiable. It may take some time and effort, but I took great pains to make this paper as accurate as I possibly could.
The depopulation agenda is based on nature worship, or Gaia worship. In Genesis, God clearly told Adam and Eve, and then Noah and his family to go forth and multiply to fill the earth. Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood, funded by the Rockefellers) said in her proposed “The American Baby Code”, intended to become law:

Alexander Haig is quoted referring to the US State Department Office of Population Affairs, which was established by Henry Kissinger in 1975. The title has since been changed to The Bureau of Oceans, International Environmental and Scientific Affairs:
“Accordingly, the Bureau of Oceans, International Environmental and Scientific Affairs has consistently blocked industrialization policies in the Third World, denying developing nation’s access to nuclear energy technology–the policies that would enable countries to sustain a growing population. According to State Department sources, and Ferguson himself, Alexander Haig is a “firm believer” in population control.
Although the above stated quotes should be sufficient to prove that the elitists in power have definite intent to depopulate this planet to what they deem to be a sustainable level. Some will argue these are only opinions and are of no real consequence. I will now move on to providing bits of documentation showing this is a plan that has a worldwide scope of influence.
Most of these documents are at least 10 years old, some older. That however, does not take away from the seriousness of the content. Do not think them invalid due to their age. It takes time to foment plans on such a grand scale. But, if you are honest with yourself you can see glimpses of these things happening today.
I am going to cover some issues stemming from the UN Treaty on Biological Diversity (Agenda 21), which Bill Clinton signed into law in 1993 before it was sent to the U.S. Senate for ratification.
EPA Internal Working Document Ecosystem Management:
“The executive branch should direct federal agencies to evaluate national policies…. in light of international policies and obligations, and to amend national policies to achieve international objectives.”
“In other words, our federal bureaucrats are writing U.S. law, independent of Congress who has Constitutional authority to do that. They are changing regulations and creating laws out of thin air.”

This same treaty considers rocks to be living beings on an equal plane with human beings. Rocks, many believe, will reincarnate into lower life forms; and gradually into human beings.

Henry Kissinger had a similar plan to use food as a weapon in 1974, found in the National Security Study Memorandum 200: Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests; which was adopted as official policy by then President Gerald Ford in November of 1975.
This Memorandum outlined a covert plan to reduce population growth in lesser-developed countries by means of birth control, and implicitly, war and famine. Brent Scowcroft, who had by then replaced Kissinger as National Security Advisor, (the same post Scowcroft held in the Bush Administration), was put in charge of implementing the plan. CIA Director George H.W. Bush was ordered to assist Scowcroft, as were the Secretaries of State, Treasury, Defense and Agriculture.
This document has never been renounced, only certain portions have been amended, leaving it as the foundational document on population control issued in the U.S. Government.

Let it be noted that Adolph Hitler also used food as weapon, stating that food is “a beautiful instrument…for maneuvering and disciplining the masses.” Food has been used as a weapon of war for centuries. Why then would it be outrageous for the elite to use food as a weapon, both a physical and a psychological weapon, in a declared war on overpopulation? It would not be outrageous at all. The American people were not allowed to see this. Americans as a whole do not want the UN to be the head of a world government. The one thing the majority of this country values, above most everything else, is their freedom. Or the semblance of freedom we have left should I say.
At the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, the Presidential Council on Sustainable Development in 1996 came to the conclusion that the world’s human population should not exceed 500 million people. That is a 93% reduction in population!
According to the UN video, “Armed to the Teeth”; and also in the Freedom From War Policy -put into effect by JFK in 1961-general and complete disarmament and US military power was given over, in full, to the UN. The Earth Charter (1992), A Spiritual Vision: “A consensus has developed that the Earth Charter should be…the articulation of a spiritual vision that reflects universal spiritual values, including, but not limited to, ethical values …a people’s charter that serves as a universal code of conduct for ordinary citizens, educators, business executives, scientists, religious leaders, non-governmental organizers and national councils of sustainable development; and a declaration of principles that can serve as a “soft tax” document when endorsed by the UN General Assembly. ”
In its original form, The Earth Charter failed miserably due to open, blatant pantheistic approach. Gorbachev and Strong have worked diligently to change the language and make it appear less obvious. You may be wondering what the Earth Charter has to do with depopulation. It has everything to do with it. Here is a very brief synopsis of what the Charter holds for us.
According to the Charter, we must:
* “Recognize that all beings are interdependent and every form of life has value…” (Unborn children, of course, are not included in the UN’s definition of “every form of life.” The Earth Summit II documents continue to support the UN’s pro-abortion policies.)
* “Affirm faith in the inherent dignity of all human beings.” (UN agencies, however, support policies of euthanasia for those determined not capable of living a “quality” life.)
* “Adopt at all levels sustainable development plans and regulations….” (This is a prescription for global socialism in a super-regulated global state.)
* “Prevent pollution of any part of the environment…” (Enforcing this dictum would mean stopping virtually all human activity.)
* “Internalize the full environmental and social costs of goods and services in the selling price.” (This seemingly harmless sentence would empower the state to price, tax, and regulate all production and consumption.)
* “Ensure universal access to health care that fosters reproductive health and responsible reproduction. (This is a thinly disguised call for that includes abortion and population control.)
* “Eliminate discrimination in all its forms, such as that based on race … [and] sexual orientation.” (This provision is clearly aimed at criminalizing those who refuse to accept homosexuality as positive and good.)

The Earth Charter has not been ratified. Do not make the mistake of assuming it has not been interwoven into our society, however! It is being taught in our schools and promoted shamelessly by Hollywood, the UN, NBC (owned by GE), ABC, CBS, CNN, HLN & all the Fox owned stations, with the exception of Fox News in order to keep the supporters blinded to the machinations of Rupert Murdock. CA guidelines set for vitamins & minerals are said to be voluntary, however, they are scheduled to become mandatory on December 31, 2009. In 1994, Codex Alimentarius declared nutrients to be poisons: See the Dietary Supplement Health Education Act (DSHEA). Yet fluoride is acceptable! Why? It creates complacency. Proper nutrients will ensure a longer, healthier life. Not at all in keeping with a depopulation agenda.

Agenda 21 was birthed out of the Rio Summit 1992. Agenda 21 (A 21), a.k.a. Smart Growth, Regionalism, Visioning Processes, Action Plans, Shared Values; 20/20, Best Practices; Community Festivals & Public/Private Partnerships. These are the names you will hear A 21 called, the buzzwords.
Every county must set up a council to oversee the implementation of A 21. A 21 is Sustainable Development. Steven Rockefeller set up the Earth Charter, referenced above. The Earth Charter is the new One World Religion: Earth worship. The earth is considered to be ‘sacred’, and its protection is a ‘sacred trust’. Global responsibility will demand basic changes in values, behaviors and attitudes of government, the private sector, and civil society.
Under Sustainable Development man is considered to be responsible for the pollution of the planet and is subordinate to all other living creatures. This is a direct contradiction to the Bible where God placed man in a position of dominance over the entire earth. The elite will worship and serve the creature, rather than the Creator.

Under this health care plan, the family unit is very much being attacked. Anyone over age 65 must undergo ‘end of life counseling’ by their doctor every 5 years. Abortion will be pushed that much harder, especially with the Science Czar wanting sterilants put into our water supply! One of the new appointee’s to the Obama Administration once said in a book he co-wrote that a child could be killed up to the age of 2 years old! What kind of a monster could think that is acceptable?
Nearly the exact language used to define Sustainable Development was taken from the 1977 Soviet Constitution!
The Family Dependency Ratio, under the United Nations, will look at every household. They will gauge what that household has produced in accordance with what it has used (i.e., resources) by the water bills, energy bills, etc. Are you using more than you are producing? Are you adding to the collective, or merely taking away? This is how the powers that be will determine whether you are a productive citizen, or, in the words of Henry Kissinger, “A useless eater”.

Authorities Prepare To Seize Kids During Swine Flu Pandemic
International swine flu summit trains responders to enforce quarantines, mass vaccinations, deal with riots & unrest
Authorities are preparing to seize children from schools, set up quarantines and morgues, conduct mass vaccinations, and deal with riots and unrest, according to an international swine flu summit recently held in Washington DC which was attended by distinguished scientists, industry leaders and top health officials from all over the globe.
A conference first discussed by this website three weeks ago has now taken place, with health authorities meeting at the end of last week to finalize response plans to a swine flu pandemic that has been all but guaranteed to occur this coming fall.
According to a PDF information leaflet released before the meeting, attendees were briefed on how to “conduct morgue operations,” manage an interruption in food supplies and “manage panic caused by sudden disruption of services & interruptions in essential goods & services”.
During a swine flu pandemic, their duties would also include dealing with civil disturbances, controlling and diffusing social unrest and public disorder, carrying out mass vaccination programs and enforcing quarantines, according to the conference documentation.
One of the most shocking modules of the conference deals with “School/University Pandemic Planning” and strongly implies that authorities will usurp parental rights over children in the event of a swine flu pandemic.
“Concurrent Breakout Session #10″ outlines plans to “train teachers to screen for symptoms & know whatto do when students / teachers fall ill,” before then transporting ill students, which presumably means transporting them to quarantine zones with or without the consent of parents. The use of schools as “shelters” or quarantine centers is also mentioned.
As we have documented, authorities have been training to raid and remove children from schools during times of emergency for over a decade, mainly under the auspices of preparing for school shootings or during drug sweeps.
In October 2001, authorities swooped in to kidnap and remove 115 children from Heartland Christian Academy without a warrant. Children were forcibly loaded onto buses like criminals as they screamed for help in shocking scenes featured in Alex Jones’ Road To Tyranny documentary.
Earlier this month we reported on how a Maine high school was taken over by the National Guard in a drill focused around riots during a mass vaccination program. In this scenario, the rioters were begging for the vaccine, but obviously the opposite is likely to be the case if a mandatory vaccination program is announced, if there are riots then they will consist of people refusing to take the shot.

What is Martial Law & How Does it Apply to You?
With President Obama’s approval rating reaching the lowest of any President at this point ever, the dollar losing value, social security running low, two wars, a bailout, a stimulus, a proposed Government health care bill, a cap and tax bill, unusually high unemployment, and a swine flu, Martial Law is looking more and more like a reality.
So what is Martial law?Martial Law is the suspension of the United States Constitution and total Government control. The Constitution protects your rights as an American, but once Martial Law is implemented and the Constitution is suspended you no longer have Any rights.
+All communication will be cut off including internet and phones.
+Your bank accounts will be frozen.
+Your weapons and property will be seized.
+You will be given identification to carry around with you and you will be rationed food, water, and personal affects in a best case scenario.
+There will be curfews and you will be a prisoner of the Federal Government.
+Once this happens there is no escape.
+Once this happens, your life is no longer under your control.
+How long would it be for if it were to happen?
Well, you would have to take into consideration who is in charge. Congress will no longer have a say. You will no longer be represented because you will no longer have the right to be represented. If you are scared after reading this you should be. The Constitution is the only thing that protects you from total tyranny. With the stroke of a pen, all that you know and have known can be taken away.
There are other details to consider like rape and murder by Government employees but you really don’t want to think of all those kinds of possibilities. That’s why people have been urging their representatives to actually read the bills they are voting on before they vote.
What could trigger Martial Law?
According to sources, pretty much anything could trigger it now. If you recall just before the bailout there were threats of Martial Law. Homeland Security keeps warning of homegrown acts of terrorism. There have been suitcase size nuclear weapons reported missing. Some say they were smuggled across the Mexican border which by the way has still not been secured even though money had been put aside.
The swine flu is the most talked about. Last week, Republican Representative Paul Broun of Georgia warned at a town hall meeting that the “socialist elite” could be getting ready to declare martial law in the United States using a pandemic disease as the pretext. “They’re trying to develop an environment where they can take over,” he told attendees according to an article in the Athens Banner-Herald. “We’ve seen this historically.”

Many States have or have begun to pass new legislation to reinforce this Tenth Amendment. These States include Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California, and Georgia. Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Alaska, Kansas, Alabama, Nevada, and Maine have considered it. Mississippi and Montana have passed such legislation.
Does this mean it cannot happen?
Certainly not, people must be aware of what is happening in their Government and get involved. Otherwise, the representatives will continue to pass this sort of legislation that makes it all possible.
A Continental Congress is also in the works.

So what is Martial law?Martial Law is the suspension of the United States Constitution and total Government control. The Constitution protects your rights as an American, but once Martial Law is implemented and the Constitution is suspended you no longer have Any rights.
+Cities will be locked down, no one will get in or out.
+All communication will be cut off including internet and phones.
+Your bank accounts will be frozen.
+Your weapons and property will be seized.
+You will be given identification to carry around with you and you will be rationed food, water, and personal affects in a best case scenario.
+There will be curfews and you will be a prisoner of the Federal Government.
+Once this happens there is no escape.
+Once this happens, your life is no longer under your control.
+How long would it be for if it were to happen?
Well, you would have to take into consideration who is in charge. Congress will no longer have a say. You will no longer be represented because you will no longer have the right to be represented. If you are scared after reading this you should be. The Constitution is the only thing that protects you from total tyranny. With the stroke of a pen, all that you know and have known can be taken away.
There are other details to consider like rape and murder by Government employees but you really don’t want to think of all those kinds of possibilities. That’s why people have been urging their representatives to actually read the bills they are voting on before they vote.
What could trigger Martial Law?
According to sources, pretty much anything could trigger it now. If you recall just before the bailout there were threats of Martial Law. Homeland Security keeps warning of homegrown acts of terrorism. There have been suitcase size nuclear weapons reported missing. Some say they were smuggled across the Mexican border which by the way has still not been secured even though money had been put aside.
The swine flu is the most talked about. Last week, Republican Representative Paul Broun of Georgia warned at a town hall meeting that the “socialist elite” could be getting ready to declare martial law in the United States using a pandemic disease as the pretext. “They’re trying to develop an environment where they can take over,” he told attendees according to an article in the Athens Banner-Herald. “We’ve seen this historically.”

Rex 84 – Your Internment Camp Awaits You

Did you know that the United States Army National Guard has been advertising job openings for “Internment Specialists?” Who would we be rounding up for internment, anyway? The United States hasn’t done that openly since Asian-Americans were forced into relocation camps during the World War II era.
Has the time come when political dissidents and malcontents will no longer dare question the actions of their government? By doing so, would they risk being rounded up by Internment Specialists and filed away in a place where they cannot disturb a perfect Orwellian, “1984″-esque peace? Remember, in the parlance of NewSpeak, peace is war. The government simply wants to be prepared, as a part of Rex 84. In the meantime, we make a living day to day, occasionally relying upon secured loans and installment loans for our daily bread.
Breaking bread, breaking us
Taking a historical perspective, Kurt Nimmo writes for Global Research that the Army National Guard’s search for “corrections officers and internment/resettlement specialists” smacks of communist China and Mao’s way. Here’s a sample from the recruitment ad:
As an Internment/Resettlement Specialist for the Army National Guard, you will ensure the smooth running of military confinement/correctional facility or detention/internment facility, similar to those duties conducted by civilian Corrections Officers… This will require you to know proper procedures and military law; and have the ability to think quickly in high-stress situations. Specific duties may include assisting with supervision and management operations; providing facility security; providing custody, control, supervision, and escort; and counseling individual prisoners in rehabilitative programs.
FEMA camps are “rehabilitative programs”
Glenn Beck and other apologists say otherwise, but Nimmo points to specific military documents that demonstrate plans to relocate people into camps. Namely, Army Regulation 210-35, which bears the name “Civilian Inmate Labor Program.” According to the document, 210-35 “provides guidance for establishing and managing civilian inmate labor programs on Army installations. It provides guidance on establishing prison camps on Army installations.”

This is quite similar to the kind of detention centers that used to thrive in Mao’s China. They were reeducation centers that used forced labor to break down residents in the interests of turning them toward “the greater good.”
Joseph Stalin sanctioned a similar network of GULAGS (which is an acronym based on the Russian phrase for “The Chief Administration of Corrective Labor Camps and Colonies”).
Does this sound like the kind of liberty that America’s founding fathers guaranteed its citizens? Apply for installment loans and secured loans now if you think you’ll need one… you may not be at liberty to do so later.

This is what the United States government has in place to enact martial law and use Internment Specialists to relocate those who do not comply. According to Wikipedia, Rex 84 (Readiness Exercise 1984) is “a plan by the United States federal government to test their ability to detain large numbers of refugees or American citizens in case of civil unrest or national emergency.” It is a continuity of government plan that places FEMA in charge of rooting out domestic terrorism, essentially. What constitutes domestic terrorism is for them to know and citizens to find out, apparently.
The program was initially tested in 1984, with the goal of dealing with “civil disturbances, major demonstrations and strikes that would affect continuity of government and/or resource mobilization,” writes Nimmo. If you are a subversive in any way, Rex 84 and FEMA will look to deploy “the military to implement government ordered movements of civilian populations at state and regional levels” and authorize “the arrest of certain unidentified segments of the population, and the imposition of martial law.”
Our government is prepared to institute martial law
And they’ve practiced for that day numerous times over the years. Politically repressive actions like the Palmer Raids and the McCarthy Era are two examples. From 1967 to 1971, the ADEX List was written. Over 100,000 people are on that list, among them a variety of notable public figures. They are considered “subversive” and are to be rounded up if the government deems it prudent.
The Patriot Act and its focus on Homeland Security brought renewed steam to the Rex 84 engine. In fact, Northcom was established stateside in 2002 to assist in federal homeland defense efforts. This agency is authorized to monitor the communications of citizens and be a rallying point should it be deemed necessary to mobilize in a Rex 84-type action.
President George W. Bush authorized the martial law option
Specifically, when he signed the Homeland Security Presidential Directive (aka Directive 51) on May 4, 2007, President Bush gave the government the authority to “declare a national emergency and impose martial law.” Directive 51 and Rex 84 can work hand-in-hand to ensure that the proper people are detained when needed. They just call it “detailed planning to execute the proposed plan.”

Deadly Serious
PLANS for mass graves have been drawn up to cope with a second wave of swine flu this Autumn.
The chilling proposals are spelled out in a Home Office document discussed at a meeting of Whitehall officials and council leaders last month.
It warns emergency plans may be needed in areas where there are not enough graves to cope. The 59-page document talks about using "a grave that is for a number of unrelated persons, excavated mechanically in advance and designed for efficient preparation and use".
It said this approach would create a "burial site for multiple graves and consecutive burials".
But it stressed there must still be "marking of the position of individual burials."
The document is called A Framework for Planners Preparing to Manage Deaths.
The meeting heard the number of burials could more than double within a few weeks of a full-blown pandemic.
It heard a presentation on the Home Office guidance from John Barrelled, a senior official from Westminster City Council.
The document warned some cemeteries "may experience shortage of grave space, in particular in inner city areas".
Freight containers and "inflatable" storage units may be needed to provide extra mortuary space.
But it stressed "refrigerated vehicles and trailers should not be used".
Cemeteries and crematoriums may need to work seven days a week and hire extra staff to cope.
It also warned there may be a need for more "basic and shorter services at the chapel" or for "memorial services" to be held at a person's home instead.
It may no longer be possible to bury some people in family plots.
New laws could be passed to allow "streamlined" cremations.
Whitehall officials are speaking to coffin makers to see if they can meet demand.
Retired docs could be drafted in to issue death certificates so GPs can focus on patients.
It may also become impossible to fly home the bodies of Britons who die abroad. Presently 30 per cent of people are buried.
New cases of swine flu have fallen sharply from a peak of over 110,000 a week in late July.
But experts predict a second wave this autumn.

Pandemic Vaccination: Why You Should Be Concerned
As the summer of 2009 winds down, the debate over “pandemic” vaccinations in the nation’s “public” schools is beginning to ramp up.
According to the Associated Press, hundreds of public schools are “heeding the government’s call to set up flu clinics in the fall, preparing for what could be the most WIDESPREAD SCHOOL VACCINATIONS since the days of polio.”
Yet, despite all of the “hype” and fear-mongering, a few very important questions remain unanswered, and concerned citizens are still being left in the dark. Some basic questions should be very simple ones for Washington to answer.
Who is paying for these millions of experimental vaccines?
Is this yet another government “bailout program” this time to enrich Big Pharma?
The single biggest question that this writer personally asked of HHS Secretary Sebelius two months ago in an “open letter” is simply:
“WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS OF THE VACCINES?”
Can Americans be 100% guaranteed that toxic squalene (an oil-in-water adjuvant) and live viruses will not be part of the ingredient list, since on July 13, the World Health Organization approved these substances to be included in the vaccines?
Again, I would ask Ms. Sebelius: “Please give us an INDEPENDENT analysis of the contents of the various ‘vaccines’ before asking us to roll up our sleeves and take the shots ESPECIALLY our precious children.” All we are asking for, Secretary Sebelius, is INFORMED CONSENT; instead, you consistently appear to be demanding blind, robotic TRUST as you IGNORE these basic questions.
Typically, when someone is afraid to give full and honest disclosure, it is because they have something to hide. What is the government hiding?
I would respectfully remind Secretary Sebelius that her own FDA, as well as the FTC, is the watchdog over consumer products and their safety. Various Truth in Labeling laws provide for the COMPLETE and ACCURATE listing of product ingredients on the labels. Thanks to these laws, this author can receive full disclosure of the chemicals and preservatives in a bag of Cheetos, and thus, I can make an informed decision to purchase and consume the product or abstain from the same as the case may be. Nobody is forcing me, to buy and eat a bag of Cheetos. Yet, the CDC and the federal government’s “health and human services” division do not seem inclined to apply these same basic consumer-protection laws to the pandemic flu vaccines.
Again one must ask, “Why is this?”
Furthermore, if my bag of Cheetos happens to have some toxic mold growing in the product, which makes me deadly ill — I have the basic right to sue the company for damages. Not so with these vaccines.
Not only do we the people not know what specific chemicals and viruses are being shot directly into our bloodstreams, but again according to an Associated Press article, the vaccine companies have been given blanket immunity from lawsuits.
This of course leads us to ask yet another question,
“If the vaccines are so safe, why does Big Pharma need such sweeping lawsuit protections in place?”
THE EMEA PROVIDES DISCLOSURE
Over the weekend, a gentleman in Belgium sent a very interesting e-mail. He had finally succeeded in getting a document from the European Medicines Agency (EMEA -the European Union’s equivalent of America’s FDA) that listed the basic ingredients in the primary “pandemic flu” vaccine being purchased for Europe GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) PANDEMRIX vaccine. This EMEA Document is very, very revealing.
The vaccine consists of:
Active Substance: Pandemic influenza vaccine (H5N1) (split virion, inactivated, adjuvanted) A/VietNam/1194/2004 NIBRG-14.
Clearly, this is BIRD FLU vaccine, with the isolated antigen being the VietNam killer bird flu virus that has exhibited such a high mortality rate amongst victims in that country.
The problem is, according to the WHO, the pandemic flu threatening Europe and the world is not a BIRD FLU (H5N1) virus at all, but is a “Novel” Swine Flu (H1N1) virus. How is it possible that such a specific BIRD FLU VACCINE would give any immune protection to a “Novel” Swine Flu “pandemic” virus?
It would seem that GSK is trying to unload stockpiles of its “Avian Pandemic Flu” vaccine by disguising it as a generic “Pandemic” vaccine under the name “PANDEMRIX”!! Why is the EMEA allowing this to happen? Will the FDA follow the EMEA’s lead and allow “Pandemrix” bird flu viruses to be shot into millions of school children in America? According to the Associated Press, hundreds of public schools are “heeding the government’s call to set up flu clinics in the fall, preparing for what could be the most WIDESPREAD SCHOOL VACCINATIONS since the days of polio.”
Yet, despite all of the “hype” and fear-mongering, a few very important questions remain unanswered, and concerned citizens are still being left in the dark. Some basic questions should be very simple ones for Washington to answer.
Who is paying for these millions of experimental vaccines?
Is this yet another government “bailout program” this time to enrich Big Pharma?
The single biggest question that this writer personally asked of HHS Secretary Sebelius two months ago in an “open letter” is simply:
“WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS OF THE VACCINES?”
Can Americans be 100% guaranteed that toxic squalene (an oil-in-water adjuvant) and live viruses will not be part of the ingredient list, since on July 13, the World Health Organization approved these substances to be included in the vaccines?
Again, I would ask Ms. Sebelius: “Please give us an INDEPENDENT analysis of the contents of the various ‘vaccines’ before asking us to roll up our sleeves and take the shots ESPECIALLY our precious children.” All we are asking for, Secretary Sebelius, is INFORMED CONSENT; instead, you consistently appear to be demanding blind, robotic TRUST as you IGNORE these basic questions.
Typically, when someone is afraid to give full and honest disclosure, it is because they have something to hide. What is the government hiding?
I would respectfully remind Secretary Sebelius that her own FDA, as well as the FTC, is the watchdog over consumer products and their safety. Various Truth in Labeling laws provide for the COMPLETE and ACCURATE listing of product ingredients on the labels. Thanks to these laws, this author can receive full disclosure of the chemicals and preservatives in a bag of Cheetos, and thus, I can make an informed decision to purchase and consume the product or abstain from the same as the case may be. Nobody is forcing me, to buy and eat a bag of Cheetos. Yet, the CDC and the federal government’s “health and human services” division do not seem inclined to apply these same basic consumer-protection laws to the pandemic flu vaccines.
Again one must ask, “Why is this?”
Furthermore, if my bag of Cheetos happens to have some toxic mold growing in the product, which makes me deadly ill — I have the basic right to sue the company for damages. Not so with these vaccines.
Not only do we the people not know what specific chemicals and viruses are being shot directly into our bloodstreams, but again according to an Associated Press article, the vaccine companies have been given blanket immunity from lawsuits.
This of course leads us to ask yet another question,
“If the vaccines are so safe, why does Big Pharma need such sweeping lawsuit protections in place?”
THE EMEA PROVIDES DISCLOSURE
Over the weekend, a gentleman in Belgium sent a very interesting e-mail. He had finally succeeded in getting a document from the European Medicines Agency (EMEA -the European Union’s equivalent of America’s FDA) that listed the basic ingredients in the primary “pandemic flu” vaccine being purchased for Europe GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) PANDEMRIX vaccine. This EMEA Document is very, very revealing.
The vaccine consists of:
Active Substance: Pandemic influenza vaccine (H5N1) (split virion, inactivated, adjuvanted) A/VietNam/1194/2004 NIBRG-14.
Clearly, this is BIRD FLU vaccine, with the isolated antigen being the VietNam killer bird flu virus that has exhibited such a high mortality rate amongst victims in that country.
The problem is, according to the WHO, the pandemic flu threatening Europe and the world is not a BIRD FLU (H5N1) virus at all, but is a “Novel” Swine Flu (H1N1) virus. How is it possible that such a specific BIRD FLU VACCINE would give any immune protection to a “Novel” Swine Flu “pandemic” virus?
It would seem that GSK is trying to unload stockpiles of its “Avian Pandemic Flu” vaccine by disguising it as a generic “Pandemic” vaccine under the name “PANDEMRIX”!! Why is the EMEA allowing this to happen? Will the FDA follow the EMEA’s lead and allow “Pandemrix” bird flu viruses to be shot into millions of school children in America? Or will it be only Novartis or Novavax vaccines allowed in America?

Mexican Army Takes Over Customs on US Border
Still More Evidence of Impending North American Union
NUEVO LAREDO, Mexico — Mexico's Army took control of customs Sunday on the busy US border, as federal authorities pulled agents off the job in a massive anti-corruption shakeup, officials told AFP.
An Interior Ministry official said the dismissals were being carried out at all Mexican border facilities, and that the customs agents were being replaced.
Customs agents were sacked after some were found to be linked to contraband operations, according to sources at the ministry.
Agents in Nuevo Laredo, on the border with the southern US state of Texas, were called in Saturday to be told they were fired, and to hand in their badges and weapons. A total of 1,100 agents were sacked, Mexican media said.
Army troops took over customs border posts temporarily on Sunday.
Mexico and the United States share a border that stretches across some 2,000 miles (3,220 kilometers) and are partners with Canada in the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
Mexico is in the midst of a raging war on organized crime, and has expressed serious concern about US weapons crossing into the country.
During a visit to Mexico last week, US President Barack Obama praised President Felipe Calderon for his controversial military crackdown on the country's drug gangs, which involves more than 36,000 troops.
The United States has pledged around 1.6 billion dollars to tackle drug trafficking in Mexico and Central America under the Merida Initiative, which also includes funds for training and equipment to boost security on the Mexican side of the border.
The Obama administration has acknowledged the US role in the violence, pledging to stem the flow of weapons into Mexico and curb demand for drugs in the United States, one of the world's top cocaine consumers.

Canada Needs 'Health Czar' With Powers to Co-ordinate Response to H1N1: Journal
TORONTO - Canada needs an independent health czar to co-ordinate the country's response to the swine flu pandemic, the Canadian Medical Association Journal said Monday.
In an editorial signed by editor-in-chief Dr. Paul Hebert, the journal called for the appointment of someone who would serve as an independent "national champion" with the necessary legislative powers to be able to facilitate the response across provincial and territorial boundaries.
The position would have different - and broader - powers than those of the current federal point person for pandemic response, Canada's Chief Public Health Officer Dr. David Butler-Jones.
"That's definitely not David's job. I mean, it could be. But it's not set up that way. And arguably that's the issue," Hebert said in an interview.
The publication of the editorial coincided with the start of the annual meeting of the Canadian Medical Association, held this year in Saskatoon. The pandemic is among the hot topics being discussed at the meeting.
Federal Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq addressed the group Monday. But she refused to answer questions about the CMAJ's call for a health czar after her speech, brushing past reporters on her way out of the hall.
Hebert said that while federal, provincial and territorial governments have done a lot of pandemic planning, the early experience with the new virus shows there are holes that need fixing.
As well, there's a potential for problems that could arise as a consequence of the fact that health-care delivery is a provincial and territorial responsibility, Hebert suggested, noting Butler-Jones' authority relates strictly to public health and doesn't cross into delivery of health care.
"He cannot cross a provincial (power) boundary, except with just making guidelines," Hebert said, offering an example of how the lack of anyone with the power to address health-care delivery problems in a pandemic might be problematic.
"Let's say Province A, B and C don't do what they're supposed to. ... who can force them to do it? Well, no one," he explained.
"What if in the middle of the epidemic it really breaks out badly and certain things need to be done and it's clear at a national level they have to be done?... We have nobody who has legislative authority to say: 'You're going to do this."'
"To me, it's OK when the whole system works," Hebert continued.
"And it may well (work), and we may not get anything here that's really serious.... But if we don't, we have no ability to manage the crisis the way it needs to be managed. Because there's no one who can step up and say: 'This is what we have to do and you have no choice."'
Dr. Andre Corriveau, Alberta's chief medical officer of health, disagreed with the proposal, saying he saw no need at present for such a position.
"We already have a chief public health officer in Canada, and also we are working collaboratively in Canada," Corriveau said Monday.
"In our federal system, the responsibility for delivery of health services is a provincial or territorial responsibility, so although we work closely with our federal colleagues and we depend on their support for many of our programs ... the final decision even when we get guidelines on priority groups or other issues, they're really guidelines that we have to make our own at the provincial level."
Hebert said the health czar should convene a summit to link public health officials, critical care staff, first responders and other decision makers and community planners to ensure actions taken will work in practice.
Pandemic planning at the top has been well executed, he said. But it's not clear the message has trickled down to certain constituencies, including groups such as family doctors, and the public at large. Hebert said he's heard lots of complaints that family doctors feel they aren't being adequately prepared for the role they are going to play.
"The top has done its job well. Many communities have done their job well. But rest assured that everybody needs to do their job well this time coming. And that's not so self-evident," he said. The time to get the message out to those groups is now, Hebert said. "You don't do it in the fall, when you're really in the mess."
The editorial, which was co-written by Dr. Noni MacDonald, the journal's public health section editor, also called for the development of priority groups for vaccination when pandemic vaccine is ready as well as plans to ensure health professionals and specialized medical equipment can be moved across provincial and territorial borders if needed.
The ability to move personnel and equipment across jurisdictions is critical, said Dr. Anand Kumar, an intensive care specialist from Winnipeg, where ICUs were swamped in the spring by a heavy load of swine flu patients. Kumar supports the position laid out in the CMAJ editorial.
"I think if we're really going to plan, at least have some plans for a worst case scenario, then I think you've got to talk about the problem of the way there are barriers between provincial responses," he said.
"Personally I think that a really important thing will be the ability to move resources from one place to another."
Butler-Jones has said the Public Health Agency of Canada will recommend priority groups for vaccine closer to the time of vaccine availability, in order to be able to incorporate the latest evidence on who is being hit hardest by the virus. Butler-Jones projects pandemic vaccine is likely to be available to Canadians in November.
The licensing restrictions that limit the ability of health-care professionals to pitch in temporarily in another province in a medical emergency came to light during Canada's SARS crisis in 2003.
Some provinces such as Ontario have since put measures in place to ensure doctors and other health-care workers from other provinces can come to help in future medical emergencies, Hebert said. But he said others haven't, noting Manitoba faced problems in this regard this spring when it was hard hit by swine flu.

Canada to Spend $15 million to Train Mexican Police
The North American Union is a myth right? It's very normal to spend taxpayer's money on military training of foreign troops, isn't it? LOL
GUADALAJARA, Mexico (AFP) - Canada said Sunday that it would increase training by its Mounted Police for Mexican officers as part of a new, 15-million-dollar security program for the Americas.
The announcement came as Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper arrived in the western Mexican city of Guadalajara for a summit overshadowed by Mexican drug violence.
"Supporting police training in Mexico is one of the most effective ways to fight organized crime and drug trafficking within Canada," said a statement from Harper's office.
Thirty-two Mexican police officers would travel to Canada for three weeks' training in the fall, while eight Spanish-speaking Royal Canadian Mounted Police instructors were currently in Mexico providing basic training to Mexican Federal Police recruits.
Canada would also provide training for 300 mid-level officers, the statement added. With killings in suspected drug attacks in Mexico approaching 10,000 since the start of 2008, Mexican President Felipe Calderon was expected to seek more support for his controversial military crackdown on the country's warring drug gangs during the two-day summit also attend by US President Barack Obama.
The meeting came amid criticism of alleged abuses committed by some of the 40,000 soldiers deployed across the country, and reports of growing Mexican drug gang activity across the United States, Canada and beyond.
